Izzy is planning her wedding to her fiance. Do I dare ask if we will get an invite? Or just express interest in the planning stages of it? I would be heart broken if we were not invited. I understand how it could make her parents uncomfortable but it doesn't have to be.

You Can ask to be invited. u can add a disclaimer by saying that you totally understand that you wouldnt be at the head table either.
Maybe you can offer to help plan the hen party or have a shower for her.
You might take her mom out for lunch to see how she feels bout things first.
The important thing is that Izzys day be special with ALL her special people.
